American-Born Babies Named “Mohammed” Surges 10,000%…

What could possibly go wrong? Well, for starters, look at Europe.

Via Washington Examiner:

KILL EM ALL

obama ... its mission is to destroy from within. sadly, obama has created an army of slaves and the only thing they care about is their gluttony of welfare

You better out there spreading your seed. Only way to beat those damn muslems is to procreate!

Don't worry, the number of babies named Jesus is way up as well.

Oh wait...

I don't understand people that won't Anglicize their names. When I lived in a foreign culture I nativized my first name. It shows respect for the local culture and a desire to fit in.

Among groups it seems like Indians are least likely to Anglicize and Chinese most likely. Arabs probably fall somewhere in between, though like all groups its trending strongly away from Anglicization. I think that's a shame.

At least people can go by an Anglicized first name. I don't understand why someone would want to call attention to their differentness like that anyway. Fitting in is almost always a better idea for personal advancement. There are a few exceptions of course, but overall its more personally advantageous to the individual.

Thanks for the actual thought out post.

All of this reminds me of my grandmother telling me of the story about her walking to the catholic school past the public school, and being called names because her parents came from Ireland and she practiced a 'weird' religion.
