Among 46 countries worldwide, America’s trust in its media ranks dead last, with just 29 percent.

“The United States ranks last in media trust — at 29% — among 92,000 news consumers surveyed in 46 countries, a report released Wednesday found,” reports the far-left Poynter. “That’s worse than Poland, worse than the Philippines, worse than Peru.

What’s especially breathtaking about the analysis of this survey is what’s missing. No one has the moral courage to state the obvious, which is Maybe the American media should stop lying about everything all the time.

The bias bad enough, but that’s not our media’s primary problem. Our media’s biggest problem is that they’re a bunch of godforsaken serial liars. Just off the top of my head…

I suppose the irony of this is lost on you.

Once again, the important question is, what are other countries' media doing right, that they get more trust?

.
The traitor in chief accomplished one of the missions assigned by Putin. Destroy trust in America's free press. Ironically, "news" outlets like Fox "News" facilitated the task.

The traitor in chief almost succeeded in destroying trust in democratic elections.

It's no surprise that Deplorables are celebrating this "news".

SAD!!!

Now there's an intellectually vapid response.

That's a factual response--not something you'd admit to given that you've latched yourself to a corrupt, criminal, treasonous, incompetent, crazy con man. Which, of course, doesn't say much concerning intellectual capability about you.

The word "Breitbart" is quite enough to know you're receiving and peddling crap. You have sold yourself to con men--incompetent, loser con men.

"The one pervading evil of democracy is the tyranny of the majority, or rather of that party, not always the majority, that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections." - Lord Acton

It's hard to see that as a valid criticism, since it could be brought with equal force against whoever ends up in power in any system. It seems to define "tyranny" as "the rule of whoever is in charge." That makes sense to an anarchist, but not to anybody else.

Democracy is exactly what it claims to be, the rule of the people. That is, its purpose is to make the state do what the people want it to do -- regardless of whether what they want it to do is wise or foolish or just or unjust. Democracy is as good as the people are, or as bad. The only thing to be said for it is that, looking around the world and through history, it is better than anything else. Not even the best oligarchic or aristocratic or monarchical or dictatorial system can compare with it in terms of socially beneficial results.

It's also been one of the worst.

And no other system can compare with it in terms of socially beneficial results so long as there are checks, balances and even flat out restrictions on democracy.

If you consider Bleitfart news .... you might be a counselbore.
