I just heard that the interviews on "Today" will no longer be. NBC fears that another attack might occur. SO, DESPITE whatyou hear from Bush, AMERICA is TRULY INTIMADATED!!!!!!!!!!!

OH, SORRY!!!!!! I wrote this thread in more detail, then deleted it. Al Roker will no longer be doing interviews on the street of NY, because of fear.

I wouldn't do interviews on the streets of New York. That's a good way to get mugged or run over by Bruce Willis chasing bad guy robbers.

It isn't just Al Roker, though. ALL of NBC executives found it to be a good idea. Personally, I don't like AL Roker, anyway. He's SUCH a dweeb.

Are you calling me a pussy because I wouldn't want Bruce Willis driving a fake undercover cop car up my ass? You know it's only syrup. I never understood why Jedi Shaft with him never used the Force to kick some ass either.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting run down by Bruce Willis. IF I survived, I could get a HUGE deal out of it. Not to mention, I could have bragging rights. "Bruce Willis ran me down." I mean, this is BIG name talent.LOL

fear

Could be, the corporate bosses handed down the order to promote fear. So all the on air personalities said they were afraid to do interviews on the street. Fear is the enemy.

dorklosermoronidiotdipshitsaywhat?

I think lots of people are re-thinking their plans for large gatherings. My family assumes that I've changed my plans to go to the race in Charlotte next weekend. They see 120,000 people gathered in one place as a natural target. Nascar apparently does too, because they're changing security.

I'll be a bit more wary, but I'll still be there screaming my voice away. I refuse to allow the fear to change my way of life. If we as Americans do that, then the terrorists have won.

In my mind being afraid isn't a bad thing, allowing that fear to dominate your life and prevent you from enjoying life is the problem.
