Character Bio:

Name: Jessica (Jessi) Lynn Addams
Age: 24
Build: Small boned, barely 5'5" in height and maybe 130 in her birthday suit.

Skin: white, a few freckles across the slim bridge of her nose. A single mole on the rise of her breast

Eyes: A mixture - shades of green and light blue

Hair: Light brown with red hints in the sun down to her waist. Most often kept in some sort of knot or bun.

Jobs: Waitress, A phone tech, Pc Tech support, Deli worker, Secretary and finally managed to land a job as a PA to E. Trevallian whom she has been working for and with for nearly six months.

Jessi is efficient and a hard worker. A bit of a 'book worm', though likable. Preferring to be behind the scenes and supportive, she goes through life a bit reserved. Cuddles up with her cat most nights, and now and then, pizza night with the girls from the office. Father is a teacher of literature and her mother is a youth crisis counselor in the mid-west. Jessi moved to the city for more opportunity and better schools, and surely does not miss the tornado infested flats of the mid west in the slightest. Homesick now and then, she does venture home for Christmas. The only child of an older couple, she did manage to grow up well rounded. Lover of music, dance, movies, fairy tale endings and that girlie happily ever after concept. Yes, she even has a set of disney movies to remind her of that notion of love. A closet softy, she doesn't let too many people into her private life to truly 'know' her.

IC:

It was one hell of a night for Jessi, the bags under her eyes were starting to show from long hours and too much reading. The job was working well, despite or maybe because, she worked for one of the best lawyers in town. Ruthless and a bit full of himself, he did get the job done but as she learned, it required little sleep more often than not. How HE remained looking bright and chipper after late night sessions, she had NO idea. So there she stood, looking twice her age, brushing her teeth and staring kind of sleepily at herself in the mirror.

"Never going to land a man at this rate Jessi girl.." Muttered through the toothpaste foam. Bending she spat it out, rinsed her mouth and crawled into the shower. Another day at the "Play boy mansion" of an office, where the wealthy came and went each day, as did his parade of... women.. A nicer term for what she was really thinking. If she brought a boyfriend to work? Oh hell no!

She stopped griping and dressed, sharp as per orders, as she had been told to change her wardrobe to something more pleasing than her 'dowdy old woman' look of before. Smart ladies jacket, crisp white dress blouse and pencil skirt, she looked nearly as sharp as her over bearing boss, for a fraction of the price. Frugal was a term most sneered at being called, not Jessica, she accepted it with pride and a grin of thanks. She wasn't an idiot, since she left home and moved to the city, she knew what it was like to go hungry and live in some rather scary places. No, she was far smarter now and saved for those "bad" days.

A cab drive to work from a small apartment took nearly an hour and a half to get down town to the high rise and up thirty floors to the office, but she did it daily... and with a bit of pride. She had busted her ass off to get this job and keep HIM happy... A tough job, but getting a bit easier each day.. By a small minute amount!

"Morning Jessi." Called a chipper blond secretary, forget her name as she is probably number three since Jessi started there.. Some of these partners went through their secretaries like Hugh went through Bunnies. Same as her boss, women came and went and some lingered much longer than any real appointment. So many women, so many flowers and cards and phone calls to apologize for the lout. She ground her teeth and clamped her jaw tight, she would not think about it, it was not HER place to even comment.. Even if her boss was a male equivalent to a slut.

She made it to her desk, set her things down and slid to her seat just as he came through the office double doors.

"Eschel Trevellian" - the name was writ large on the brass plate affixed to his office door - "Attorney at Laws" it went on to state. Zander looked at the fixture, his full name did look rather impressive and sturdy, his acquaintances all called him Zander.

Zander was not one who invested in friendships other than when it suited, he paused and wondered, wondered about humans and their customs. He was himself half Human, the other part of genetic make up being Deity, a fact which he kept close to himself.

Shrugging his heavily built shoulders he pushed through the office door, turning the well polished brass door handle as he went. He caught a thought as it went fleeting across his brain, "Funny how appearances are reality to people" it whispered, he did not bother to suppress the responding grin that grew upon his face.

The office beyond was in impeccable order, his sea green eyes captured the scene in an instant. Plush red carpet formed the foundation for a setting of very well made, and tastefully deployed furniture, his own desk was accompanied by a high standing Wing backed chair, upholstered in black leather of the highest quality. Away from the window and appurtenant to the large Bookcase was the rather more modest yet tasteful desk that he had set up for the use of a personal assistant, the current incumbent was seated there.

Zander's grin broadened into a smile, the smile was not one could mistake for being heartfelt, but rather a signal that a storm was not about to burst and that for the moment he was not displeased. "Good Morning Ms Addams" he greeted.

Jessi

She glanced up from her desk, her eyes had been on her cell phone and lap top to sync up his calendar, "Good morning Sir." She murmured distractedly, trying to sound as bright as he.

"Your appointments are squared away, lunch reservations confirmed for this afternoon at one for you and two guests. You have no appointments for the next .." Her eyes lift to the clock on the wall to verify the time, "hour and a half." Which she was certain in that time frame he would have something to do.. and hopefully no more embarrassing phone calls she was subjected to from his many feminine admirers.

She did well these days at not looking directly at him unless she absolutely had to. His ego was large enough and the pay too good to ruin the job by fanciful admiration on her part for an Adonis with an attitude. It had taken her an entire week to be comfortable in the same room with him and even longer to get accustomed to his handsome face. He got that reaction every where he went, used it well for his goals as well, but she knew a bit more about him than the rest.. at least some of his more shady side and shrewdness of mind. He was cunning, calculating and very much in control.. AND he unsettled her a bit with his lack of... Well, morals.

He had joking called them "mortal trappings" at one time, but they had laughed it off as a slip of tongue, but he definitely had no issues bending backs and twisting fingers to get the job done. Good thing was, he was more good than evil, as most lawyers..

She shook herself from her inner musings and moved her chair back a bit as he moved about his office. "How did your evening go last night?" She couldn't help but ask, the dinner was business, or so the schedule said at least.

Her question was fair and to the point, it was one of the attributes he liked in the woman, she did not seem to be as sycophantic as her predecessors, sycophants were a dime a dozen and he now could spot such with ease. "Very well indeed". was his response, "Haul out the Xantheus file for me would you, I learned some interesting facts overnight".

He did not expand on the subject but his smile was joined by a mocking light in his eyes as he recalled the events of the previous evening, Teddy Farmer, CEO Xantheus Corporation, high roller , big spender, and now in the depths of a battle to avoid a hostile take over bid from a long standing rival. "Poor Teddy" he thought to himself. Teddy Farmer was now securely in Zander's clutches.

"Make it quick girl" he flashed a quick look at Jessi, swiftly adding "make us some coffee while your at it".

"Facts?" She asked as she stood, moving fluidly, quietly across his plush carpeted floor to the filing cabinet, where she fished out the file he was asking for. Moving back as quickly as his clipped tone suggest she do, it was offered over to him.

Waiting until he took it, she then turned about on her sturdy short heel to face the door and strode right on out of the office.

"Harriet.." She paused at Zander's secretary, "His next appointment should arrive within an hour." She paused then to take a stack of files off the counter, a news paper for today as well as pick up the delivered pressed shirt and tie from the cleaners.

"Yes, Miss Addams. All prepared, we have fresh lemonade waiting and ice as well as some dainty tea cakes as requested." Harriet rambled off between typing out something or other.

"Mr. Trevallian will take his lunch promptly at twelve fifteen and will return by one thirty. His next appointment is at two, three and so on until four forty-five where he will be leaving to change and dinner.." More idle banter to herself than anyone. "Is there or has there been any emergency calls that would detain him?" Jessi looked up from her PDA to stare into Harriet's brown eyes, expectantly for an answer.

"Nothing as of now, Jessi." A flashed smile shared between women, Jessi then moved off to the hall and small alcove where she poured Zander a fresh cup. Sticking her pencil into her hair, she lifted the cup and files, careful of the wrapped shirt and tie, to reenter the office. Without a word, she set the cup before him, to his customary spot and coaster. Setting the files down at the side but within easy reach and then over to a hidden closet.

"Nothing has come up as of yet and on schedule, Sir." She called as she stretched up, pressing her fingers to the catch spot so that the wooden panel swung soundlessly open. Stepping into a scented closet that smelled rich with his unique scent, she hung his shirt for dinner. Shifting his hanging garments a bit to be spaced enough not to crease or wrinkle into another. She turned to be sure his gym bag was present and nothing sweaty was stinking within.
