There is a guy named Dave Chesson who has some good tips on his website about how to maximize sales on Amazon. He has a lot of paid materials and courses, but there is also some good stuff you can glean for free. Search for his name and I'm sure you can identify his website.

I followed some of his tips on selecting the best categories for my stories on Amazon and my monthly sales more than doubled, from around $230 per month to over $500 per month, with a lot coming from other countries such as Canada and Great Brittain.
