Amazon is getting hit with a class action suit

As you may be aware Amazon recently made it their policy to refuse to allow print on demand publishers to use Amazon to sell their works unless the publishers used Amazon's Booksurge printing arm. The publishers works would appear on Amazon, but there would be no 'Buy' button on the page.

Personally, I think that was rather unethical of them.

And it appears I'm not the only one.

This should be interesting.

Why cannot Amazon - of all people - get it through their heads that book buying is an impulse purchase unless the book is difficult to obtain, in which case PoD is a reasonable alternative in an OPEN marketplace.
