Top 3 whiskies?

Glenmorangie started it for me.

Laphroaig and Bowmore (Both of them from Islay... Christ, you can really smell the peat from them).

That's 3, but I've got to squeeze in an honourable mention for Makers Mark (American bourbon).

Apart from Glenmorangie, I'm on board. Love Laphroaig. Also huge fan of Caol Ila and especially Lagavulin.

No love for Ardbeg? Supernova :heart::heart:

Out of my price range! And I am just getting back into them after a long absence. I have been on a bit of a diet for the last 3 months (Lost 25 lb). Whisky is a lot better when you're watching the calories, than the usual 3-4 bottles of wine that I used to pour down my neck on a Saturday... I'm afraid that when it comes to alcohol, I'm a stank! (Road drain).

You know your whisky, now, recommend me some beers?

I won't be much help here as I virtually stopped drinking beer almost 20 years ago.

I had started to holiday in Germany (For the football) and was blown away by the quality of their beer. After returning home, each time, I found that I couldn't stomach the gassy poison they were serving up back home any more.

I occasionally take a pint of Guinness, when I'm out or a bottle of something basic, like Corona, when I'm barbecuing.

If you ever get a chance to visit Germany, you must try:

Augustiner (Munich)

Kolsch (Cologne/Koln)

Berliner pilsner and warsteiner (Berlin)

So beer went out in favour of wine, which suits me much better now.

Went to Munich for the football about a year ago, Bayern v Dortmund. Loved it. Soooo many good beers.

I seen Dortmund v Bayern in 2004, at the westfalenstadion. I had done my usual, buying a scarf and hat in the home teams colours (Yellow and black) only to find I was sitting in a section of the ground that was filled with Bayern supporters! When Dortmund quickly took a 2-0 lead, that was when the first plastic beer mugs started to bounce off the back of my head!

Thankfully, the game finished 2-2 and I had made a couple of friends out of the Bayern fans sitting around me. They realised that I was either a foreigner, or mentally ill (or both!) and just seemed to find the situation very amusing.

Haha we always knew we would be among Bayern fans so dressed accordingly. Brilliant night. Always had a soft spot for Dortmund, still do, but I may have fallen a little in love with Bayern that night.

why didn't you add some beer from Hamburg? (jk - a little bit)

To be honest, I don't remember the beer there to be as special as some of the other places and I can't remember the names of the local breweries. On the three occasions I have visited this wonderful city (Easily the best town for a party in the entire country) I have stayed at the same hotel (A one star!) that is situated up an alleyway from the Reeperbahn. Most of the bars I went to there were "dives",(I was on a budget), where they would serve up anything to the drunken tourists. I did have a few nice beers in the city centre, but I'm fucked if I can remember what brand.

Each trip there passed in a drunken haze as I trawled the sex shops (picked up some wonderful gifts for Mrs. Slayer!) and done some "window shopping" looking at the wonderful girls of this district (Too chicken shit to do anything but look, and like I said, Mrs. Slayer at home ect.) Seen some good football there too, although i never got the chance to see "my team", St.Pauli, as they were always playing away from home when I visited.

I remember a great Indian restaurant on Budapester strasse that I visited each time I went there (The only time I've had soup in one of these establishments - Lime and coriander, fantastic!) and several drunken nights in "The Jolly Roger" with the magnificent St. Pauli crowd. The lager in there was truly god awful! Bottled "Astra", but at least they had Caffreys on tap!

How did you discover Lit?

I have been reading the stories for around 10 years. Only signed up 6 months ago as I had written a story and to get it posted I had to have an account and pen name.

That led to me dipping my toe into the forums. It's been a lot of fun!

In what part of Lit do you usually hang out?

The first few weeks were all about the writers pages. Then, the General board, which turned out to be Waaay too political for me.

From day one, I had always been drawn to the BDSM cafe and now, it is 90% of the time I spend here. After an initial period of "lurking", I realised that it's not a closed shop, and had some nice personal message exchanges with a few of the regular posters here.

I sometimes check out the playground, but my attention span isn't usually up to participating in the word games that seem to dominate there. I have to give a mention to certain threads though...

Amanda lee's Playground: Amanda and Sally are the ultimate teases! The way that they bounce off each other is a pure joy and it is hard not to join in!

Everything Monica B:This thread caught my eye, as I had always had a thing for this Italian Goddess...

http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=1523806&highlight=monica&page=6

The AmPics is always worth a look(Free,"Girl next door" titties! What's not to like?)

Here in the cafe, is where my heart lies though... I have learned to look out for certain Posters (Daisy Love, Shank, Anja, to name but a few) and I will always click on to any new posts from them...

The cafe is the place to be, for both the type of sexy images I like to see and the sexual... Discussions between the posters here.

I'm not on Facebook, twitter or any other social media. Lit. is my main distraction and it takes me away to a nice place when I'm having a break from "swinging the hammer" on a building site!

You have excellent taste in beer, Mr. S.

It doesn’t get much better than Guinness and Augustiner.

25lbs?? Hold shit, you were sexy before your weight loss.

Sending you a big hug from Germany.
