Not a lady, but while I know a ton of guys in Lit do enjoy watching their SO fuck another guy, I'm pretty sure my unenlightened, neanderthal opinion is that I would completely and utterly wreck anyone that I caught with my wife.

Sorry, I have a Titan of a green-eyed jealous streak.

In our experiences with other couples/individuals, it has never been about watching one another with other people, but wanting a full range of experiences for each other. Mr. Riles is quite content to let me do my own thing with other men or women, so long as I am getting what I want/need. I feel the same about him.

...but I don't think wishing your partner enjoyment is wrong, provided you can deal with all the psychological issues that come with it, and given her reaction, I think you two need to revert to the 'talk about it' stage than the 'act on it'. Certainly there will be worries after - it's natural to feel awkward given that you are engaging in behaviour that is a step away from the idealistic marriage. It's up to both of you to put in the work if you want to make it a go of this sort of play.

While threesomes are hardly an off the wall fantasy for both men AND women, I can speak from personal experience when I say the following:

If that was her initial response, it is frighteningly obvious she is not comfortable w/ the thought and was trying to appease your desire to have one.

Threesomes are a lot of fun and can work w/ the right mix of people. But if she isn't ready nor does she wish for you to allow her to be in that position, then trust me when I say it will backfire if you keep pushing the issue.

No matter what you decide, communication is key. Discuss your options/fantasies with her and see what she returns them with.

Best of luck,

~Red

this is a fantasy that is used in our bedroom, sometimes too much (my opinion). But that's it...a fantasy. I don't believe hub can deal w/the "after shocks" - & i'm not sure about myself on that. But no I don't feel you are weird but as others say if your wife isn't comfortable, than it's not a feasible activity.

Not weird, no. But keep in mind that this is your fantasy, not hers. There may well be things she fantasizes about that you would balk at actually doing. You can't fault her for not being turned on by your fantasy any more than you should feel bad about not necessarily being turned on by all of hers.
We all have our fantasies, that's healthy and good. Pushing them onto someone else isn't.
Look at it this way--
If you wouldn't be with another man for her, can you honestly expect her to be with another man for you?
