I watched every second of the game on TV...but if you had been around, I might have been tempted to let my mind and hands wander off...

I can honestly say I thought all of them were hot. Do they always take their shirts off after a match?? I was riveted. The US has just GOT to show more of this stuff.:D

Yes - when they play big games for their country or club they almost always take off their shirts and trade them for a shirt from the other team.

And nowadays it´s also very common for players to take their shirts off for a moment when they score...so if you like that, I really think you should keep watching the WC matches!

Polar - who wouldn´t mind if you took your soccer shirt off...I´m sure that you could compete most favorably with the soccer games...

I do have a question about the game. (This was really the first football game I have ever watched all the way through) Why are fouls counted when it really doesn't seem nothing is done, except the change of possession? Also, why do they get a "free" kick sometimes?

I´m afraid the shorts only come off in the dressing room, JL..away from the television cameras...even if players have been known to change shorts on the pitch if the shorts have been torn up during the game.

And about the game: if you commit a foul, a free kick is awarded to the other team. These are sometimes counted and shown on TV, but the numbers has no real meaning. Also shots on goal, corners, possession - for how long you´ve had the ball in control -might be shown.

But if you cause a lot of free kicks you will be shown the yellow card - maybe even a red one which means that you´re off for the rest of the game.

Glad you like the game we share with the whole world...we´re playing Nigeria and Argentina in our other two group matches.

What day do you guys play again? I heard that England plays Argentina next and that they are suppose to be good.

I did see a couple players get a yellow card and I figured that was a bad sign, lol. I'm still amazed I found this game rather stimulating. Even if the shorts don't come off in public.:D

We play Nigeria on Friday.

And you´re absolutely right - Argentina is a very, very tough team to beat...

The US, by the way, starts their campaign on Wednesday, against Portugal...and they´re also very good.

I didn't even realize the USA was in this until I saw a commentary about it while watching the other match yesterday.

Here in Ohio they built a gorgeous new stadium a couple years ago for the Columbus Crew which is our Major League Soccer team. They are quite popular.


Who am I cheering for? I have to go with the United States..but I gather they have a snowballs chance in hell, lol. Soooo...I guess England. But after watching Sweden the other day..they would be a very close second. This is really all new to me. I watch baseball more than any other sport.

The USA is not really a pushover team anymore, JL - don´t give up before they´ve played their games.

But I do like that you will give us some support...and I´m absolutely sure that the players in our team would like a visit from you in the dressing room.

Then you could check in on them when they´ve no shorts on.

Mind you, it could be a bit distractive just before a big match.

Well, those naughty ideas come naturally when you´re chatting away with a hot woman like you...just seeing your AV is exciting.

I don't think it would matter how I would be dressed. The clothes would be coming off pronto.:D
