My guess is that whatever image viewer/manipulator you are using is not compressing the file size of jpegs (this is what jpegs are good for) enough.

There might be something better out there, but I doubt it is better for the price:

Irfanview is FREEWARE and it does ALL KINDS OF SHIT. It is intuitive and powerful.

I strongly suggest anyone reading here download it and try it out. It is free for non-commercial use, so this is not an advertisement. I just really like the program.

The only drawback - I don't like the default icons that are used for image files when you make Irfanview the default viewer.

mmlax, just use Irfanview to open whatever image you want to post and SAVE AS a jpeg (.jpg). You can use other image programs to do this too. If it is still too big then consider resizing the image (800 X 600 pixels is usually small enough, though I see that your posted b&w images are way smaller than that).
If that doesn't work then when you SAVE AS JPEG select the OPTIONS button instead of SAVE and slide the sliding bar toward lower quality/more compression (those might not be the exact terms).
