While liberal bias continues to dominate many of the major internet news sources such as Googlenews, Yahoo, CNN, Huffington Toast, Salon.com, and on and on (the list is endless), alternatives continue to emerge and improve.
No longer mere amateurish blogs or commentary sites, non-liberal news outlets are emerging and the quality level and look of the sites are constantly improving. Below is a list of four sites I would recommend to get a balanced perspective on the news:
Fox News
Although not a truly conservative site, and certainly not "right wing," it is marginally more fair and balanced than most other major news sources. It also has the advantage of being a universally known "mainstream" brand with a full staff of reporters and an associated television network.

The Daily Caller
The biggest of the new true conservative sites, the DC tends more toward a "libertarian" conservative perspective. It was started as a conservative alternative to the obnoxious Huffington Toast site, and has gradually improved in quality and range of articles. Like the Huffington Toast, it attempts to cover all subject matter, not just politics, including Sports, Entertainment, general lifestyle issues, etc. The negative is that it can be a bit risque at times which might put off more socially conservative readers. Also, it sometimes takes a while for all the pictures to load on some computers.

CNS
CNS news service is the best choice for those who don't want as much "neo-conservatism" (Fox) or quasi-libertarianism (the DC). It has more of a traditional conservative/populist perspective, though without sacrificing a good balanced overview of the news. The look of the site has recently improved and it now rivals any mainstream news service.

The American Free Press
The standard bearer for conspiratorialist-populism, this truly alternative news site is the online version of the venerable AFP, "America's Last Real Newspaper." AFP, and its predecessor, The Spotlight, have been exposing the truth behind the news for almost 40 years. For something truly different, check out AFP, where the "media is the enemy."
