did you get hit by the snow/winter storm?
we were supposed to get an inch or so of snow, some freezing rain... we got a fair bit of regular rain but missed the bad stuff. i was almost disappointed as i wanted to get pics of the puppies playing in the snow

did you get hit by the snow/winter storm?
we were supposed to get an inch or so of snow, some freezing rain... we got a fair bit of regular rain but missed the bad stuff. i was almost disappointed as i wanted to get pics of the puppies playing in the snow
Nah, we got hit with a bit of the wet, so far. Upstate and the adjacent boonies get all the snowfall somehow. It might snow a bit tomorrow. Then a suuuper big deep freeze is supposed to drop on us again by Thursday.
As drab as having a snowless winter seems, I'd rather it be dry when it hits the teen digits because it's hell here when shit ices over. Things shut down early or break down faster and the already annoying mass transit is crap-tacular.

ice is the worst! there were a couple of winters back in the uk - maybe 10 years ago, maybe more, can't remember - where there was a heavy drop of snow that began to melt then froze hard, got snowed on again and the same thing, till you couldn't tell where the kerb was and the pavement ended and road began. it was more slippery than anything i'd ever seen before, and 2 neighbours within the space of 10 houses broke bones and many more fell. i fell so often i had a bruised butt for weeks!Nah, we got hit with a bit of the wet, so far. Rapeboi was always on death row, it was just a matter of time before his order got processed by the governor. I actually wanted to see how far he was gonna go with repeating himself before he got bored with it like in the last thread he hosted. Had no idea he'd get shivved this quick.
It sucks that Yappy hooked up with him and put all his money in that basket thinking this was gonna be their tag-team year to shine. Now he's the only one left holding the sputtering torch and he's gotta keep it going!
