Not an issue, want to ask the question before submitting. I have used Alt Codes in a WORD document, for several Spanish words. The n with a tilde, and various vowels with accent marks. Will those alt codes appear as intended when the story is posted?

I've just included the vernacular, accent marks and all, in my stories for foreign phrases/sentences, without any coding on my part, and as far as I've seen, they've all come out as intended.

Most alt codes will display as intended. Submit by cut-n-paste or .txt file so you can preview. The preview should be a solid indicator of what the final result will look like upon posting. There are sometimes font related quirks that don't properly support a few codes, but they've been few and far between in my experience.

I haven't checked since a lot of the pages have been updated, but it used to be that you had to be careful using accented characters and such in the title and description, because a lot of the places that displayed those two pieces of information were not coded to deal with anything other than standard English characters. It would show fine on the story, but on the New Story listing, it would replace accented characters with other ascii characters such as boxes and blocks.

That may have been fixed with the new pages and no longer an issue.
