I called in sick today. I'll be heading to bed in a bit, but when I wake up in the afternoon, would anyone like to hear my sick self on the phone?

Just a conversation, no play or anything. I have free long distance in north america, and 1000 minutes to Europe.

Or maybe chat on yahoo?

Damn, you must be doing OK!! I have been in bed all week, today being the first day I have been able to be upright more than 10 minutes and no energy to talk though due to family dramas have had to lay in bed and squeak over the phone to home a couple of times for a few minutes. LOL, I just told my son I am 1000% better than I was yesterday, but still am only up for about 30 minutes maximum before having to lay down again. Being this sick is the pits and not at all in my plans.

The problem is a combination of a bronchial issue and allergies. And sinusitis. Saw my doc yesterday.

My eyes are swelling from allergies- I wake up hardly able to open them, they're so swollen. My sinuses are killing me, and I have a history of chronic sinusitis... which sucks, because I had surgery to alleviate the problem, but it seems to be back.

And I'm coughing, and it's hurting the hell out of my chest.

I've not felt well all week, but one of our other people is sick, and I had to cover his shift... I just can't do it today. I'm croaking, it's ridiculous. I'm okay with people here hearing me sick... but not at work.

Sounds just about like moi....bleeding sinuses suck, but the upside is F has had some peace simply because I have no voice and little breath if I try to talk, not to mention the room spinning constantly....there's always a positive. :D

*sneeze* *cough cough* Sorry you two aren’t feeling well.

You don't have allergies to roses right? Here you go this always makes me feel better. :rose: :D

Hermoso, your av does good things to me.

And, strangely, it makes me want to do laundry, the old-fashioned way.

I have some laundry you can do. ;-)

I also have long distance where I can call anywhere and it doesn’t cost me a dime.

Shall we talk, sweetie?

LOL, I'm starting to think I've missed something....wouldn't it have been just as easy to just call or is it too old fashioned to do that first without asking in cyberspace for all to see and know?

No- the invitation was open to anyone who wanted to take me up on it.

Sanj happened to be home today, like me... so we agreed to phone. *shrug*

My previous post was a thank you, of sorts.

No probs...I'm just a simple girl who picks up the phone first...maybe I am just privacy paranoid. :D

LOL, that is why you phone!! If they don't answer, usually they aren't home, or near the phone, or don't feel like talking right then. I'm beginning to feel technologically challenged and fuddy duddy. :p

*smile* Phoning him isn't always quite that easy.

His phone wanders.
