Why does it have to be you or why can you stand down and let someone steer the pack?

I like working on a creative team.

Helping on a project....doing lame anonymous grunt work for the sake of something turning out just perfect.

On my own projects/stories/graphics/photos...I tend to know what I'm looking for..but I'll take anyone's advice to heart.

There's actually two types of Alphas - those that are demonstrative and those that are manipulative.

I'm seldom the former unless there's a leadership vacuum.

I almost always opt for the latter because the thought of someone else exercising domain over my destiny gives me hives. I don't always feel I'm bulletpoof, but I know my best interests. I'm fundamentally of the belief that in the end, we are all looking to satisfy our own interests - to the extent that yours does not infringe on mine, I'm content not to be top dog.

But if I feel that there is a threat to my own sense of well-being, then all bets are off.

Alpha...until the lights go out.

Unfortunately, I am driven by the adage, "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

It will be the undoing of me.

:(

When the lights are dim and the kids are sleeping away, ...well!

As long as they do it right, I will let them do all the hard work (and believe me, it is hard!) - but if they fuck up, go the wrong way and don't respond to constructive criticism, I will tear their throat out and take over if I have to. Or I will find another pack.

Marxist..

You and XXplorher gonna follow each other around quiping away at each other on other people's threads?

Is it really necessary?
