Why is it that a women who reaches forty is considered old and a man is not. Why is it that a man at forty could date a 28 year old and if he lets say married her, no one would say a word, but a women who was forty would get snide remarks? Yes, this is a bitching thread. Does anyone else notice this?

Not that I am forty, although close, I met a man on my business trip dating the younger girls, I didn't care, but realized it seems to be a double standard.

Well, you got that right sister but it still sucks. I don't think the forties (and I'm not there yet) guarantees that a person dosn't give a fuck about what people think. The way I see it, when Im 40, the ONLY thing a younger man would be good for is fucking. I personally am interested in the man, not the age, but certainly not someone who could be my son, the incest thing is just not my style. However, I would say there are several years of difference I could overlook if I was in the market for a man.
