Well, I was going to go out on a second date with this girl my Mom had hooked me up with. I'll call her C. C was supposed to call me Saturday. I got cleaned up, I pulled some money out of the bank and I waited for her to call. I sat there waiting all day, with absolutely nothing. Finally, I'm getting worried, so I call her Mom's house to see if she is okay and what the deal is. I get a quick "We'll tell her you called" with no further information. About 5 minutes later, her mom calls me back to tell me that I am never to see her again, try to call her again, go by where she works to see her again, or in any way try to contact her again, or I would be "in serious trouble", and she asked me if I understood like she was reading me my Miranda rights.

Now I have been out with this girl exactly once. I didn't take advantage of her, I didn't ask for sex on the first date, I even paid for the movie. I saw her once and exactly once in between my date and when her mother called me, and everthing seemed perfectly fine, and I had not called her or otherwise bothered her since then.

Anyopne else out there get treated like a psychopath for no fucking reason?

She says she is not married engaged, or otherwise hooked up. From what she told my mother she wanted to be hooked up with someone, and that she has never had a second date. Cel supri.

I have no knowledge of her mother's mental health, although this has certainly given me a poor opinion of it.

I picked her up at the thrift store where she worked briefly with my mom. She was wearing fairly reasonable attire.

That's probably a good idea. I just figured you were curious as to why you got such a weird/strong reaction from the mother, and maybe it would be easier for your mom to talk to psychogirl's mom.

I would do a bit of digging to find out what went down - just to satisfy curiosity - I mean there has got to be some reason.

ok so why dont you just leave her a note - and post it saying what mom said and just asking if you upset her in anyway - no pressure but interested to know

You never no phsyco mom might just be telling you one thing and her the other - she might have told her that you cancelled and didnt want to see her

worth finding out one way or the other - unless you are not that bothered - then move on and upwards

This is a good example of why everyone should avoid letting their mothers find them a date.
