I haven’t watched the Olympics in decades… can’t imagine why anyone still does.

I think the last one I made a point to watch was the 96 winter. While I respect the athleticism, the organization is really fucking corrupt.

My guess is there's probably a MLR thread going on in politics right now, and it flagged this one as similar.

I took a look and you're right. There was a thread started in the Politics forum on Thursday entitled, "Mary Lou Retton is a Libertarian Grifter" so in all likelihood this thread was suggested at the bottom of the one there.
