Vette is a broken, aging man who sees the world around him rejecting his old, outdated way of thinking. He and other mental midgets like him tried to use a military career as a substitute for education and intelligence - he's since learned that pats on the back thanking him for being a soldier doesn't mean people actually respect him. They see him as a fossil who can't do anything else with his life, and that's made him bitter.

He and his kind will die soon, but that doesn't mean we have to wait to fix the mess they made.

I believe their are those who represent the strength in America, people who blazed the trails, braved the hardships to come out West to seek out new opportunities and build new communities. Those who stepped up to volunteer in endeavors greater than themselves to lay it all on the line for what they had built.

Then there are those who waited until it was safe, those who fucked up their cities in the East enough to drive freedom loving people out and westward, those who would follow when it was safe to do so, in order to enjoy and corrupt what better men and women had suffered to build.

Today we see a large strata of America who want to enjoy what others worked hard to build. They want what others have sacrificed their lives to protect and nurture, what others have earned, with no intention of making the same kind of sacrifices themselves, they claim the right to an equal share. Constantly demanding their wants and needs to the point of destroying all that was built and sacrificed for. Are we all Americans? Yes, but the hard working people of America know the difference.
