comes out on video tomorrow and is actually quite cute. A group of four men go behind German lines in WWII to capture an Enigma machine (code writer) dressed as women. Eddie Izzard plays one of them and his character describes himself as "a bisexual lesbian trapped in a man's body." when trying to explain his homosexual relationship with another man to a very straight British major.
It doesn't have any deep lasting social value as a movie, but I enjoyed it, esp when they go to the undercover gay bar in Britain.
"Sir, I believe some of these men might be queen's!"
"Do you think you should tell the management?"
"I will!"
A few minutes later: "Sir, you'll never believe what the manager told me!"
For a little light fun, I suggest it.
