All that glitters

I was one of those kids that got into my mother's jewellery box. I pooped turquoise and emerald rings in the back yard as a result..

Nowadays I love edible glitter, but I have never checked to see if it sparkles after digestion.

Poop shouldn't be undervalued, fortunes have been made on guano, and the best crops have rich soil, and soil is enriched with poop most simply. When the sun catches the top of cereal crops and glistens gold, maybe that too is poop glitter

This was the best post ever to start my day with! :):):) You have the most interesting way to look at things. :rose:

I never undervalue poop. It's the shit that gets thrown my way. Some days I just have to glitter sooo hard!!

With the heat today, I'll second that wish!

Isn't it nice to think about? I think Elle mentioned it in an earlier post, how sparkly the water looks. Inviting.

We have a place about 3 hours north of us, a cabin. Sitting on the deck, watching the water, especially on a sunny day - seeing the sunlight skim of the top of the water. It's a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

that looks a bit like Lake Whatcom...

Though... the western shore is mostly occupied, so I guess any view quite like that would be impossible.

Probably just my nostalgia kicking in.

mmm - it's a stock photo off internet that reminded me of the cabin... could be!

This is the lake. I had to look for a pic... it tugs at my heart - my husband, standing up... in healthier days...

trippy.

(Yes I'm aware that i'm a walking contradiction sometimes.)

Sprinkles no.

Irish cream ice cream.... still no, but at least tempting.

Magically germ free ice cream.... um... I'm listening... (still kinda squicked)

magically germ free... blood?

uh... hold that thought, & have some amaretto while I go eat some bread first.

Dude if your blood has germs in it you got big ass problems.

the opposite is true. If a germ is a foreign bacteria or virus, your body contains more "germ" cells than genetically native cells. Blood is a vector not only for more pathogens than anything else (a "secondary vector" for virtually anything), it's also a vector for some of the very most dangerous ones. It is treated as a severe bio-hazard for a reason.

... I learned a healthy respect for bio-hazardous material in grade school. Some of it while visiting my mother at her place of work in the hospital, a decade before studying anatomy.

It didn't develop to a level I would call "phobic" until... college maybe? when "old hat" got matched up with gruesome photography? Or maybe highschool, when we studied viral outbreak patterns & pathogens.

cutting myself off.

In anycase; uncooked blood is a huge danger, "metal cravings" or no. Perhaps *slightly* less so with rigid testing and fluid bonding practices, though unfortunately blood drinking is labeled "dangerous and abusive." As frowned upon by doctors and authorities as any part of BDSM.

Oh a brain!
*sits and stares listening intently*
