All that glitters

Omg, well, I just tried glitter make up for cookie, and ( no go, I didn't put enough on, I am finally getting used to the subtle make up of middle age and couldn't load enough on, then the articficial lighting of night washed it out more.

But I had forgotten how tender my skin can be, removing that stuff is OUCH!

:rose: Your effort is appreciated!!

It was surprisingly short.

Still worried... usually a migraine bad enough to induce vomiting comes with a false memory, which has yet to rear it's ugly head as of yet.

I've come to realize they don't lay dormant long before I fixate on it... fresh wound and all.

Glad to know it was short. Odd about the false memory... bummer about the worrisome part.

Thanks for your glitter contributions!!

Whew. false alarm.

Gradually realized I was kinda looking for the likeness of my collar, but couldn't find it. Suddenly occurred to me THAT might be the false memory. No it's still safely tucked away. Same as it ever was.

That last one is actually very close, except that mine is black and chrome and leather. The knotwork is called "the hounds of Chulainn"

oh nooo.... I'm so sorry!

I didn't mean to.

That sounds very nice Staggy.

And it's okay. It was on the different side than usual. Made me go "oh good maybe I don't have a tumor.'
Refreshing migraine.

refreshing?

not a word I would use to describe any of my migraines...are you sure you got it from me?

I sometimes find it recedes significantly under hot water.... thus I end up taking very long "pain management" showers.

I remember once long ago, when I was suffering with chronic pain, a very horny girlfriend used to spoil me with "pain management sex" on a near nightly basis.

I suspect that method of pain management wouldn't/ didn't work so well for migraines, given that I wax sadistic and bitey with the migraine.

Refreshing as in "Oh good, it's probably not a tumor."
They've been on the same side with the exact same spot having a sharper more stabbing pain for about a year.
So yes, in a way it was refreshing.
