All that glitters

I'm the same way, I'm either full speed ahead doing everything at once, or not at all. There is no in between. I've started giving myself a daily task. Instead of trying to clean the whole kitchen, today just wipe the counters. Dishes are the bane of my existence. I've taken to doing them nightly after I've already washed all the baby bottles and bowls. At that point in already there and it's just the dishes from that day so it only takes a few extra minutes. I find folding the laundry done best with Master. It goes faster and in the evening after the kids go to bed it gives us the chance to talk about our days and reconnect.

Now, he needs scratching of course  but, when outside can you have mosquito net?

Like stag, for me my key time of activity is in the morning ( my pre breakfast is much shorter). When out of kilter I have a spurt of wakefulness about ...um, now :D, ( it's eleven and a quarter) . I use time slots too sometimes, but rarely minutes, usually the length of a song, or an advertisement break, and I race the clock a bit. I try not to have 'idle' time in my feet....while a kettle boils a work surface or cupboard fronts can be cleaned, or doors or light switches. It's the time expanded that wears me out, not how much I fill it for me it seems...so a full and busy three minutes or song, no worse than an unproductive time slot, and a quickly acheives twelve things, are less impactful than the same things slower paced with jo rest.

I always use lists. Hard copy lists, on shorthand pads/ reporters notebooks. This is partly because my memory is ruined, but it also adds sense of acheivement ticking things off.. This makes me feel better and helps the mind / brain game.

Cookie....between all of us, I am sure we can all help each other with things that work for us, to add value to our lives and those that are cared for.
