This is why I have little respect for most liberals. I realize I am generalizing, but when you get right down to it they are as base and intolreant as any other part of the population.

Saying you want to help the poor or minorities doesn't buy you indulgences if you are a black-hearted, foul human being.

The whole reason I am Queer~Vader as opposed to my ID query is because of the good liberals on the board think its cute and clever to call me "queer-bait."

When they start losing an argument on the merits their true nature wins out.

It is true that white men tend to vote Republican. In the 4 states that white liberal men exceed white conservative men, there are few blacks, but they "know" what is good for the black community. It is paternalism and it is ugly.

I had a next-door neighbor in my old lilly-white upscale neighborhood. Big-time Democrat. Precinct leader or some such. He decides since his nosy ass can see into my backyard if he stands right next to my fence that he doesn't like looking at my automotive projects. Wastes my time with visits from every government agency you can possibly name. Fire department, dept of environmental quality, vector control, animal control, planning and zoning, even child protective services.

When all of those agencies told him to piss off, he says to me:

"You need to live in South Phoenix with people 'like that'" Direct quote.

My professional practice at the time was one of only a few who did serve South Phoenix. Yes you might see a car up on blocks here and there, but there is better pride in ownership, landscaping and cleanliness than his sterile, barren yard and out of place cape-cod looking house in the desert.

I have no use for liberals except the ones that are actually out there helping in these communities they claim to care about.

There's something called "limo liberals." They're the ones who just pretend and want the kudos and accolades for their charitable efforts. There's also the discussion about the history of Democrats and Republicans. There was a time when they were the opposites to what they are now. White people never subscribed to either party thinking of black people. Now that black people are "free" and now that their efforts for civil rights has helped out other people of color, they have to be considered and it becomes a mess. I'm about to just pack up and move to my family's reservation.
