If they're ones you posted directly to Lit, they're toast. The admins made a conscious decision that explicit content would be removed from Lit's own servers and it's pretty much all been eradicated now.

Links to externally hosted content are still allowed (although most of the external sites are ad-riddled junk; I'd recommend imgbb for a nicer experience for anybody who'd care to see you)

Images instead of text can take up a lot more space, i've seen images of like 30Mb per image (Mind you they were large, uncompressed png files, which is silly).

Would have been better if they gave say a 60 day warning, and compiled it all into a downloadable zip before nuking it so users could rehouse the content if they wanted to.

But as they say, if you don't control the hardware/servers, you really can't complain if they remove/destroy something.

Hmmm... Gotta wonder if it's to avoid future problems. I remember getting an email for downloading adult videos and i was given a scare threat of being sued if i didn't pay $200. While tame, fighting lawyers over copyright claims (could be a hundred thousand for a lawyer in say NYC per case) is probably a lot harder and easier to disallow it entirely.

Also i remember some sites, Yiffstar (Think it was renamed 10 years ago) some people would just upload images of their gaping assholes. So the admins would have to determine you're an actual artist and put up proper content before allowing anything nillywilly.

Wasn’t My_gifs in like Story Ideas or somesuch? I’ve been curious for a while now why it wasn’t in a different top level.
