I had woken at my usual hour with a particularly sensitive case of morning wood. I grinned as I recalled last night, and regretted for a moment being responsible and leaving you. I sighed as I got up. We wouldn't have had time to do anything anyway.
The morning was clear and crisp, perfect for a run. I pushed myself, going further than usual and a bit faster. As I came to the halfway point, I noticed a sign at a local bistro, advertising a wine tasting this weekend. I took note of the hours and headed back. Not long after, I was showered and on my way to work.
As I pulled into the parking lot, I heard my phone ping and read your text. Smiling, I replied, "Good Morning Beautiful! You are so very special. XOX"
I sent the message, then did a mental slap, and typed another, "Care to go to a wine tasting this weekend?"
