The pols wanna build a choochoo to Orlando, but we already got an empty AMTRAK train that runs there every day. But it don't go to Disney, it goes downtown.

A few years ago Tampa did a study of public transportation.

The trolley to the gay bars costs a million bux a block to build. The city wants to run a trolley up Franklin Steet to the park the winos sleep in. Its cheaper to buy each wino a house and a car than build a trolley line to their park.

The city bus service is expensive. The Tampa study disclosed that its cheaper to buy cars for its riders than run buses. Most buses run empty or almost empty.

Here in Schlub County it costs 10 bux for every one buck of fares the bus collects.
