Here's something I've looked into recently, stories that take place in an ultra-normal suburban environment when bizarre changes in attitude start manifesting among the ladies in town.

Random sightings of strange craft hovering in the forest nearby coincide with odd disappearances, and I imagine myself in particular going missing for a few hours and returning with some disturbing alterations....disturbing at least to my family.

It seems my whole body aside from my head has been treated to remove all hair follicles, leaving my skin incredibly smooth and silky. A condition it seems I cant help showing off...with a strongly suggestive undercurrent of eroticism!!!

Most alien stories have an alien motive of making an alien/human hybrid race, to be matured on their planet, and at about 6 (because of light year difference), brought to Earth to live among and later mate with humans.

Extracting hair follicles doesn't really have anything to do with this, although there are stories of this happening (can't grow hair) on specified areas in a cloning theme (under arm, crotch, legs and bangs).
You can also have the alien make a strong pheromone out of this to insure mating with the half alien clone.
The pheromone would have to be made just for adults.

By the way, they (humans) are really working on a synthetic pheromone (originally discovered in tanning spray, but was too addictive having withdrawal effects) for sexual dysfunction (women having problems getting to orgasm from low self esteem).

I've gone to some of these Alien mind control Websites, and even before I saw that X-Files episode, I thought if it exists (which is very plausible and probable), it's coming from the government, not aliens.
As Mulder and Skully found out, this also ties in with a UFO coverup, saying that they are top secret projects that weren't meant to be seen by the public, when the real coverup is that they really are top secret projects and the media is instructed to put ideas in peoples heads, which can be enhanced with hypnotism.

I don't see how low self-esteem could inhibit an orgasm. Some women seek out sexual relations as a way of boosting their sense of self worth, by association.

I call it a pheromone because one form it comes in is a nasal spray, but since it comes in other forms, I'd have to call it an aphrodisiac.

The chemical is in phase 2 of testing (used on mice), so don't expect it to come out any time soon.
It's predecessor Bremelanotide (AKA PT-141) was too addictive just like the tanning spray it originated from.

A new chemical bond was formed called PL-6983 which may be out by 2010.
Don't get too excited, for the moment it's kept under lock and key in a laboratory in London, and will be dealt out in very small portions prescribed by a doctor and screened very carefully.

It works on the pleasure enhancing neurons of the brain, which means it has an immediate affect.
