Hey Alex, have a great day and night! And don't do anything I wouldn't! :D

I know I've posted this the day before, but heck that's the advantage of being ahead of you lot! :p

Alex,

Happy day to you and yours, glad you were born.

best to you, Perdita :rose:

Happy Birthday, Alex! I hope you celebrate in style.

Loulou

Happy Birthday Alex...I hope the coming year is one of happiness and love.

Happy Birthday.

Seems an appropriate day for doing something you have never done before. I hope it is successful.

Best Wishes from

Og

Happy Birthday - hope you have many more.

-FF (I was going to do the Happy Birthday to you, you belong in a zoo song, but you're already here, so I decided... nah. :D )

wildsweetone, we need to talk . . .

Thank you all, for the kind wishes. To say that I was gob-smacked by this posting of the Kiwi lady's is putting it mildly. I have to say, 60 feels no different from 59. My dearly-beloved has given me a super little Olympus digital recorder which I think will be very useful for NaNoWriMo, for those ideas which strike when one has nothing to write on.

Celebration will include appreciative partaking of a single-cask Balvenie . . .

Thank you.

Alex

Edited to add: So far today I've received eight e-mails to my Alex account - all viruses! Was it something I said?

Oh Alex!!!! I'm glad you've enjoyed your birthday wishes. :)

I am so sorry to hear of the viruses. I sure hope it's just coincidence and not because of this thread. :( God, I'm so sorry if it is. I didn't think it would happen. That's cured me of wishing somebody happiness in such a public way. Sorry.

I don't think it's your fault

The virus e-mails all purported to have come from Microsoft and all contained variants of the W32 worm thingy.

Perhaps others should beware, too. I didn't recognise any of the senders - which certainly weren't Microsoft, despite the e-mails looking genuine otherwise. Thank goodness for Norton AV!
