That drone video was very cool.

I'm really amazed at the control he has with it. The shots coming back at himself were particularly impressive.

And, if you have cranked up that pass -- quite an accomplishment, indeed.

The Palmer side of the pass is a real bitch going up as it's the steeper side, but on the way back, it was a pure blast going down. With a full suspension mtb, the chuckholes were smoothed out and my velocity was well over the posted legal limit. Yet, going down the Willow side was my favorite descent. The long downgrade was like having a motorized assist. Every gravel corner had a bit of drift to it. Cars were left in the dust. Too much fun.

Frank Says, "Alaska is no country for old men, and though my joints suffer plowing through Chugach fields of scree, I'm not too old to build the best snowman on the block."

“You have osteoarthritis in your knees from long-term wear and tear. Have you considered the fact you are getting too old to climb mountains?” (says the doc)

“No, and I won’t. I know guys in the mountaineering club who are past 75 and still climbing mountains.”

"When you’re a child, adults will tell you to “act your age.” As you reach senior-citizen status, you might receive that same admonishment from your children and friends. Sorry, no can do."
