Fuck no. I have a job and was at work. Prolly an unemployed oilfield engineer up there.

But I did a little digging and the guy works for himself. So, he makes his own hours. He writes about the day of the climb: "With some very unusual winter conditions and a short window of good weather, Cale and I were able to scramble to the summit of South Suicide Peak. Pretty exciting being that high up in the middle of the Chugach in January--had some great weather (minus occasional gusts), ate some fine chocolate, and marveled at foot-long feathers of hard rime ice fluttering off of the summit ridge. Limped back into town at 7pm, long after dark, and plopped ourselves down at Moose's Tooth. All in all, an amazing Alaska day."
