"HEAVY RAIN TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY EXPECTED TO LEAD TO PONDING OF WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS AND HIGH WATER ON ANCHORAGE STREAMS...

TRAVELERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND HIGH WATER ON AREA STREAMS FROM HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

RAPID SNOW MELT FROM RECENT WARM TEMPERATURES HAS ALREADY RAISED WATER LEVELS SIGNIFICANTLY ON CHESTER CREEK AND CAMPBELL CREEK. ONE-HALF TO ONE INCH OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL THIS EVENING THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS THURSDAY WILL LIKELY PRODUCE PONDING WATER ON AREA ROADS AND ALLOW STREAM LEVELS TO APPROACH BANKFULL BY THURSDAY MORNING.

DRIVERS ON AREA ROADWAYS SHOULD PREPARE FOR SLOWDOWNS IN AREAS THAT ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO SIGNIFICANT PONDING OF WATER. THOSE WITH INTERESTS NEAR STREAMS SHOULD PREPARE FOR UNSEASONABLY HIGH WATER AND PLAN ACCORDINGLY."

Yeah, but one needs a degree, the other just needs an orange vest.

The union boys will be taking you out behind the shed.

I drug a bull moose out of a minnesota swamp once.
Good meat but don't shoot em in the swamp.

I've brought home several. I've never drug any game out of the woods, swamp, etc. We cut them up and carry the pieces to where it can be loaded into vehicle. When the parts are hanging, it looks like the belong at the butcher shop. I've done swamps, woods, tundra, mountains, etc. The easiest was on tundra where I was able to back the Jeep with up to the kill spot. The worst was when we had to carry the SOB over the mountain and down the other side.

I wasn't the idiot who shot him in the swamp. And it was warmm (60f) and the black flies were swarming. Didn't want to expose more meat by quartering.
Hey, who did in the Juneau mayor?
