Not that slippery. You gotta run like you're on a trail.

A trail is one thing;
snow and ice are something else entirely.

I'll take your word for it; as for me, when the white shit falls, I get on a hamster wheel (a/k/a a "treadmill").

That's what skis are for!

A FAST MOVING FRONT SWINGING IN FROM THE WEST IS EXPECTED TO
BRING ANOTHER QUICK ROUND OF SNOW TO SOUTH CENTRAL ALASKA TONIGHT
THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING...POTENTIALLY IMPACTING THE MONDAY
MORNING COMMUTE WITH FRESH SNOW.

So says the weatherman.

I remember the first time I saw anchorage. I damn near cried.
It was like someone airlifted cleveland and dropped it in Alaska.
It's the only thing in Alaska I didn't like, but a necessary evil I suppose.

It's an unplanned sprawl, but if you spend much time in Wasilla, it's marvelous.

Although MD is in the photo, so is the Turnagain Arm Pit (great BBQ) and New Sagaya (a great place to buy fish).

We used to sell our crab in seldovia. Damn I liked it there.
Never should've left
