Anyone else watch the new Dragnet with Ed O'Neill as Joe Friday?

It's from Burt Wolf (Law and Order) and uses the same narrator as Law & Order which kinda threw me.

As for Dragnet, it's too soon for me to tell. I'm gonna need a few more weeks to make up my mind. Luckily USA runs The Dead Zone at midnight so I can tape both.

I just want to be the first to point out the niether Al Bundy or Joe Friday condone homosexuality.

Those are a couple of real male characters there.


I'd like to see a show where Joe Friday arrests Jack from Will and Grace for prostitution, and a show where Will comes into Bundys shoe store to buy a new killer pair of high heels for a weekend party.

I should write screenplays.

Al Bundy was a great character I still watch the old Married With Children reruns.

It turned out he didn't have a computer available for email.

I saw brief parts of it. I was catching the re-run of The Shield since I had missed it the previous Tues. The parts I saw looked good. Ed O'Neill looked sharp and crisp and very comfortable in the role. He pulls of the role as a cop pretty good in my opinion.

I'll reserve total judgement about the show until I see some more episodes. I didn't miss The Shield this week, so the plan is to catch Dragnet this Sunday.
