I can now see the surface of my desk! Not only that, I can know write on it without having to shuffle mounds of paperwork and random weird things from one end to the other.

The big question is: How long will this desk stay like this? If it were you, what would the answer be?

I think you cleaned the way I do.
the mes was all over so you organized the mess into piles :)

so your desk is a mess already

I give it a day...............I just am not happy unless I have a messy desk......................:)

If it were me, I wouldn't have even bothered trying... I'm ultra-organized, but for some reason, completely incapable of having a clean desk for more than 5 minutes.

But you're not me, so... I give it a day or two. :)

If your cats are like my cats, that desk is already a goner.

What is it with cat's anyways? What is with the incessant need to knock everything over or off? They're like little bull dozers!

I say one day, once those monster kitties find it all cleanie

:p

Update

It's 9:17 pm PST. On my desk sits an empty Coke can, a bottle of water, and a tissue.

So far, I'm winning the war against chaos!

So far...

"mess" into "neat piles"

That's my way when I clean my own desk!!
However, now its messy.....AGAIN!

ACK! :D

Laurel who cares about the mess, as long as you can find what you need by the end of the day :)

I tidy into junky piles at least once a week. I only clean if I know I'm having someone visit my studio for the first time.....

*Hey Kiwi Wolf, notice how tidy the studio was two weeks ago, but last Friday it was messy, :D *

An untidy desk is the sign of a mind which knows where things are.
Someone who has to have everything in a fixed place {a sign of tidiness} is usually a person who can't find where things are in their head.

Coupla days, tops . . .

before things return to normal.

In the words of that great philosopher, Anonymous, "A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind".

on my desk is just enough space for my laptop, my teapot and my ciggies LOL

Halo :rose:
