AH Roll Call

licking

Impressiva Impetuousa
a/k/a Imp

A delightful yet baffling creature. Playful on the surface, but complex and at times extraordinarily frustrating to those select few she allows to approach. Is exceedingly flexible and cooperative unless her values are threatened, at which time she becomes an unforgiving bitch.

Is at her absolute best when organizing and advocating. Is intolerant of any personal display of insecurity or neediness, and attempts to emotionally isolate herself until such ugly cycles run their course. Has extreme difficulty admitting her needs for fear of eliciting a response tainted by obligation.

Prefers to subsist on a diet of equal parts peace and passion. Eschews all forms of conflict. Cannot be tamed, but can be coaxed into temporary submission. Requires a partner with exceptional patience and the ability to read her mind, but is well worth
  1. A brief introduction, please.

Howdy. Apparently, I'm one of those AH veterans now. Although my join date says September 2003, I didn't make it to the AH until August 2004. (I have dear matriarch to thank for inviting me to join the family here.) Please call me Imp. There's no need to choke on impressive. *wink*

I am, for all intents and purposes, just "flirty window dressing" around here. I seldom jump into the "serious" threads (because I really don't want to have to think too terribly much when I'm hangin' out in the Hangout). Go ahead -- underestimate me. ;)

I adore Jammies' comparison of me to a Kauri:

  2. What's the link to your member submissions page?

    impressions
    .
  3. For which category do you most often write?

I'm not writing for Lit much any more. Too busy self-publishing (plus editing & designing covers) for paying venues.
    .
  4. Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

I pulled most of my stuff from Lit for publication. What's left isn't worth mentioning.
    .
  5. Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?)

Yes -- To date, I've accepted money from Fictionwise, Phaze, Venus Press (defunct), Ruthie's Club (defunct), Tit-Elation (defunct), Torquere Press, Literary Metro, Desdmona, Oysters & Chocolate, Erotic Dreams, Clean Sheets, AudioLark, and Whispers Media.

I write both solo and collaboratively (with Belegon).
    .
  6. Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)?

Alessia Brio -- a pen name I created when my work sold ('cause the publisher didn't want to use impressive). I also created the Coming Together account, but it's shared with several members who help with the anthology series (see www.eroticanthology.com for details).
    .
  7. Anything else you simply must add?

    Peace, y'all. :cathappy:

A brief introduction, please.

Call me Biscuit Hammer or Space Wolf.

What's the link to your member submissions page?

I didn't know you could even name it. It oughta be called 'Hammer Space'

For which category do you most often write?

Romance or I/T.

Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

Gawd, probably the Alexaverse, specifically 'Mike & Karen'.

Are you published elsewhere?

Yeah, if you like my style, message me, and I'll send you a link.

Who ELSE are you?

On here? Nobody. RL, about to be a published author, and I work in TV and movies. If it's filmed in Toronto, I've worked on it. Currently attached to a legacy sci-fi brand.

Anything else you simply must add?

I punch Nazis. Always punch Nazis. Even if it's not always legal, it's always ethical. Punch a fucking Nazi today!

I've already posted most of this in the "AH Directory" thread ages ago, but one never knows which of these might bubble to the surface.

A brief introduction, please.

I was young and stupid when I picked my handle, Blind_Justice. Didn't think it through, really. Most people call me BJ, but those I like may call me Chris. The "blind" part of my username is no joke. I'm a nerd, a geek or whatever else you call people with an interest in pen&paper roleplaying, giant robots, way too much music to be healthy and a host of other subjects. Fuck, I even do religion on occasion. :)

What's the link to your member submissions page?

My stuff on Lit

For which category do you most often write?

Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Reality has thrown so many lemons at me, I'm black and blue all over. Fuck reality.

Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

"The Rembrandt Legacy" has a lot I'm proud of. Kick-ass action, well-written characters, a believable hero (despite superpowers!) and some steamy sex. Yep. If you've go the time, read it!

Are you published elsewhere?

Yes, I've published on lulu.com. I'm also trying to get a Patreon off the ground, with little succes so far. My writing may be kick-ass, my advertising skills... *crickets*

Who ELSE are you?

As a Game Master with more than 25 years of experience, I can be anyone. The beggar in the gutter, the dastardly villain threatening to burn your whole village or the alluring whore shaking her breasts at you. I also do Bar Mizwahs, weddings and Black Masses. Bring your dice and let's get it on! :)

Anything else you simply must add?

I don't bite unless asked to.

Make that six. I wrote this a long time ago, and it's still one of my favorites:
Tatelou Quits Smoking
byBoxlicker101©
One day Tatelou said to us, I’m quitting smoking, guys.
Written down the whynots and I’ve written down the whys.
Do you have some help for me? she said to all of Lit,
Any tips or good advice to help me really quit?

Sub Joe told her give them up for one day till you see.
I agree, Black Tulip said. I found it worked for me.
Quit them cold, the only way to go, I said to Lou.
She agreed and said that lollipops may help her through.

Rude Dude said don’t use a patch and mentioned Dutch support.
Nausea just might help you, Lou, The Earl said in rapport.
Yuk and eeew and Blurgh! she said. I just might try it, though
Pop begged off but wished her luck and hoped she’d make it go.

Liar said he smoked no more because of smelly breath.
Mindy said stay off the booze; I hope you have the strength.
‘Dita said she quit them once but started up again.
Watch out for the triggers, dear, I wish you well my friend.

Dirt Man said he wished her luck although he’s smoking some.
Remec told of habits, how they’re hard to overcome.
Pierce Street told a story that he hoped would help her quit.
Give them up! remember that your life depends on it.

SnoopDog’s not a smoker but advised on saving dough.
BT led us cheering, yelling go, girl, go, girl, go.
Phildo said that exercise will help you quite a bit.
Charley said stay out of bars and sex will help you quit.

Raphy offered hugs and Destinie could do the same.
Tatelou thanked them, cuz the hugs could help her win the game.
Dirty Lover told her how he quit them recently.
Once again we stood and cheered, directed by BT.

Icingsugar checked in, said he wished the best for Lou.
Whispering Surrender told us Raphy said so too.
Phildo led us in a cheer but then he called her “Tat”
Tatelou thanked him for the cheer and said don’t call me that.

Lee said this is how I quit and gave some good advice.
Sorry that I’m late Mhari said and kissed her twice.
Smoked for thirty years said Lime and quit not long ago.
Ev’rything is better, ‘specially sex and food you know.

Summer Morning said don’t be a quitter when you try.
I can hypnotize you, was the word from Dingus Guy.
Lin said hey, I missed a sexy avatar of Lou.
Goddess said that writing gives her hands a job to do.

Sailor gave encouragement in case there was a need.
Made the team said Belegon because I quit the weed.
Maybe you can help me quit, Erotic Writer said.
Lou, it’s been a month or more since you began the thread.

Lew the Dude is reaching out and helping guard your back.
Boxy George is writing stories of you in the sack.
Even went so far to write this really silly rhyme,
While the lewd, licentious one is giving you his time.

All the folks I know on Lit. are truly on your side,
Giving you encouragement to help you turn the tide.
Giving you advice and saying what you ought to do,
Saying hang in there, my dear, we hope you see it through.

If you haven’t had a smoke since you began the thread,
If you are enjoying things your husband does in bed,
Ev’ryone is proud of you, we see you standing tall.
Please don’t start to smoke again; you’ll disappoint us all.

This was a fun poem to write and I hope you enjoy it too and vote if you do. It's a true story, also, and the thread is included in Authors' Hangout under "I Need Help", if you want to see if I missed anybody who contributed.
Report Story
I am honored Boxlicker101 by the mention. I did a search of my name since it is has been a few years since I have looked at this forum at all. My writing has certainly been virtually nonexistent over the years. It is funny that one of my stories I wrote back in 1999 - Ghost of a Chance - still gets me love here and the occasional email. I started to rewrite it during covid19 because of all the errors in it and my fans seem still to want more and I never had the heart to deliver. Back in 2000, I had written more and my computer died and I lost 2 of the chapters I was going to submit. It was heartbreaking and since then, my writing has slowly become less and less.

Anyone remember the Challenge Club we used to do? Where several writers looking to do some short stories got weekly challenges to create a story. Sometimes it would be words to add, a certain genre or subject, and one time we had a challenge to write in a genre that we never wrote in and did not feel too comfortable writing in. Ahh the good ol' days. Now 55, going on 56, sitting here at home for the next 2 months after partial knee replacement surgery, I am finding the thought to maybe do a little something, something. I have always loved erotic horror, so maybe my next story will be for the Halloween contest. I think first though would be to resubmit my Ghost of a Chance rewrite with more substance and sexuality than the original. To finish the new chapter that I started in 2020 and fell short of completing. I am not even sure I can replace the original at this point, but this is clearly better in my mind.

My writer's page is HERE. My best story that I wrote was Marty the Midget's Erotic Christmas and got a 4th place holiday award for. More of a children's holiday story than an erotic story, but did throw in a sex scene at the end 30 minutes before the submission deadline to keep the title intact. I wish I did not wait to the last minute to submit that one and had time to proofread beforehand. Yet, it was well received and at a point was asked to sign a deal to add it to Amazon's page for erotic stories to read on the Kindle/Nook. The cover was awful and I think was the ultimate reason it never got any reads. I wish I still had it to share, but it is not there anymore. Here is the photo of the book cover for your amusement.

Og

Edited to update 16 June 2022

I am receiving treatment for lung cancer. So far I am 3 years beyond my last expected survival date.
I am very sorry to hear about your Lung Cancer, but keep fighting. As the great Jimmy Valvano once said, "Don't give up, never give up!" My Dad died of Cancer that started in his lungs and spread to other areas of his body. I did a hypnosis video in his honor to help people fight addictions, bad habits, and fears/phobias. Smoking ultimately killed him, and if I could help one person, then it was worth it.

I hope you are still able to enjoy life to the fullest Ogg.

Didn't we just do another, longer version of this? But I'm game; we all like to talk about ourselves.

  1. A brief introduction, please. My user name gives a very strong clue about where I live. Look at Google Maps, but please don't stalk me. It would be extremely difficult to find me anyway.
  2. What's the link to your member submissions page? The whole URL will do I guess. Submissions. Some of the older ones are not that great even if the scores seemed decent at the time.
  3. For which category do you most often write? Probably Erotic Couplings, but I've got some spread around. My first in Exhibitionist and Voyeur should be out soon. There was one that should have been in NonHuman but that would have given away the plot.
  4. Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style? One of my least popular but I still like it. Valerie Solanas was a real person, but few remember now who she was. Valerie in New York Ch.02 She did work as a prostitute at times, although of course that scene is made up. The part about living on a rooftop is from the movie version, but that is surely fictional.
  5. Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?) Two other erotic literature sites.
  6. Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)? I have different user names on those sites.
  7. Anything else you simply must add? I have a daughter who is almost thirty-one and a son who is twenty-seven. They both know I write but not exactly what it is.
