cyn, i like your lacy nipple better than the other one, to be honest.
I'm wondering, though, what do you mean by the word "slave" as you apply it to yourself? What's the difference in you mind between a "slave" and a "sub"? What thoughts lead you to make a statement like "...is definitely getting obsessive...but as a slave i tend to be so anyway"?
I'm a lifelong submissive, cyn, a masochist, and someone who has considered myself a slave to two - only two - Dominants in my 30 years of doing this in a skin-to-skin way. I have small things i'm obsessive about (like putting the dishes in the dishwasher in a particular way - they just don't get get clean if you put them in incorrectly!) but i wouldn't call myself an obssessive person, and certainly not because i'm sexually submissive.
I don't hold with stereotypes, cyn. Not here, certainly, where we're paddling as fast as we can away from the rampant and mostly bullshit stereotypes that have been used for so long by nilla society to fear us and/or hold us in contempt as a group and as individual people.
I don't mean to be unkind to you, specifically, at all. I'm really glad you've found your way here. I cannot, however, stay silent when i hear something i percieve as even slightly injurious to my view of myself (and all the rest of you by extension) as a normal, balanced woman. I'm the same as your 8th grade teacher. As a matter of fact, i could have been your 8th grade teacher; i taught 8th grade science for a long time.
Down deep, in my core identity, i'm a sexual submissive. That doesn't make me an obsessive, though. It doesn't make me compulsive. It doesn't make me anything but a sexual submissive to a very few Dominants, people i pick as carefully as they pick me.
cyn, i think you need to do some reading about BDSM. I think you need to do some thinking about what BDSM is to you in your life and what it might be to the whole wildly differing rest of us who claim this as a part of our self-identity.
Again, this is not a rant at you, cyn. Today, here, now, your post simply provided me with a soapbox. I tend to go into lecture mode on occasion, as most who've been here awhile know. It's because i care so deeply that people not see BDSM, this thing that's of such incredible importance in all our lives, as the one-dimensional cartoon freak show it's been portrayed to be for so long.

you have touched on a point about my personality in your response, in that i often say things out of term. you must know that i was not attempting to slander you or anyone here with my comment. although i DO have an obsessive/compulsive personality, in no way was i trying to categorize sexual submissivity with a personality disorder that can range from mild to serious, and is in itself not connected to the BDSM lifestyle.
i appreciate your thoughtfulness in asserting the integrity of our personal choices in sexuality, and how important it is to maintain that there be no stereotypes here, a place where those of us who have chosen a BDSM lifestyle may come as they are, and not, as you say, be considered freakish.
however, i hope you do not maintain that a person cannot have been born with, or chosen, the lifestyle of sexual submission or dominance while having personality disorders, because at the same time that would be taking a stereotypical view of personality disorders as themselves "freakish".
i am aware that i am new to the BDSM lifestyle, but have felt since a child that i am submissive, that submissiveness is "part of my self-identity" as you say, yet once in awhile a sense of needing to dominate rises. i will, at your wise advice, look into this.

It seems the system updates past posts, on things such as this, when you make a change to your profile. I have been sitting here trying to find the unusually long nipple with finger prints on it, for a while now, and didn't know it had changed to the lacy picture until later down in the posts. I know it is early in the morning, but I didn't see where there were any finger prints on that nipple. It looked like a perfectly fine nipple to me, if you want to know. Of course, I prefer two of them, when I am looking at that sort of thing. But, that is mainly because I am sort of semetrical in things. This in no way should reflect on your single nipple picture. Actually, I see it as a very pretty specimen of a nipple, as single nipples go.
