All are invited to my Ultimate Cinco de Mayo Fiesta!

You should expect the following:

~A wide varitey of Mexican dishes prepared by Bobby Flay, Aaron Sanchez, Jose Garces, Marcela Valladolid, and I'll have to include Guy Fieri for his drink making skills & Ann Burrell just because of her party-personality. I think Cheech Marin is supposed to be bringing the brownies. I understand he has an exceptional homemade recipe and promises they will not disappoint.

~Free flowing drinks, frozen or otherwise, served by scantily clad waiters/waitresses for your enjoyment. Bartering of sexual favors in lieu of monetary tips for their excellent service is encouraged. :catroar:

~Music will be provided by Santana and whomever he chooses to bring along with him. He has some awesome music biz pals, and I'm not sure who we'll hear/see with him this evening but it will no doubt be a hell of a show. :nana:

~Mexican themed attire is not required. In fact wearing nothing is perfectly acceptable. Suit or unsuit if you desire yourselves. :D

Requirements:

~ NO POLITICAL CONVERSATIONS. Failure to adhere to this rule will get you tossed out on your "trasero."
<-- Translation provided if it is too much of a stretch to figure it out for yourself.

~ No whining, griping, complaining, etc. No behavior to bring down the party atmosphere. :caning:

~ Hand over the keys and plan on being here a while. This rented mansion is full of bedrooms and you may take advantage of them whenever you like.

~Have fun, and the fiesta begins whenever the guests arrive. (no time zone time limits here) :nana:

Getting ready for the party.

I can hear Santana and the band warming up, smell the delicious foods being prepared, and the decorations look great.

Mmmm... smell the carnitas? the cinnamon from the churros? Heavenly! I'm gonna have to get these chefs to give me their recipes. ;)

Oh, Mariachi bands are a must. ;)

I heard a piece on NPR the other day, they said that Cinco de Mayo was started in California to celebrate the defeat of the French in Mexico. Apparently the Holiday was adopted by the Mexicans and the US connection was forgotten. Mariachi bands were added later.

Party Hardy and eat the worm!

I'll have to get Tricia and run around naked doing Tequila shots from her navel. :D

Patron hooter-shooters all around.

Must remember to stay away from the piniatas. ;)

Woo hoo, I'll Have Another won the Derby so...I'll have another!

Ah, to be in my twenties again...

Cinco de Mayo was a big party night for us. We'd start at the Red Onion in Huntington Beach, and then hit El Torito in The Market Place, and then head to 2nd Street in Belmont. By the time we reached Legend's we'd be toast.

Now my twenty-two year old son is getting ready to head out, and I'll probably drink a Tecate while I play some Gran Turismo on the PS3 :D

By the looks of the mariachi band, this party has already gotten off to a good start!! :D:D

Olla, mi amiga, bueno Cinqo de Mayo. Arrrrrreeeebaaaaa!!!!!!!

Buenos tardes, Lance. :)

I've booked some entertainment:
