And I can't find it on the net, well ... not for free.

That's easy enough for me to adjust. More worrisome is the paragraph spacing and indent. That's something everyone's gonna have to do themselves!

I'll offer Dreams of Meeting (current word count 4,388) and Lovely Day for a Ride (current word count 2,657) with the note that I will change the POV and tense ASAP. Those were the problems noted in feedback I received. I will keep the stories basically intact, with minor changes in grammar and character description.

If those aren't what you had in mind, that's fine, I'll understand and wait until I have something better, but I feel the sex in both of those stories is the best I have written and that's why I chose them.

Maybe I can help, in general.

All anybody has to do is click on new page in Word.
Go to format at the top.
Adjust lettering and size.
Go to Paragraph and click on special margins.
Tell the program you want the first line to indent.
Then go to File, top left.
Click on page.
Set your margins.
Then say you want to save the blank page as a template (is that the correct word?).
Give it a name like Anthology.


Next time you start a new document, you can choose the format Anthology.

All you have to do then, is import your original story and get rid of the double spaces.

I've done an edit on the Jip story, and submitted the corrected version this evening.

There's a version with tabs instead of line breaks, and all that sort of thing, as well. I can turn it into a Word file at the work computer, which has a current version of Word. Are you collecting Word files for this, already in the font you specified?

1. what is the focus of each volume - hot and racy, sensual , romantic kinks? I realise that each will aim to to be broad, but will there be some underlying or common thread running th rough all of them or just a hodpodge?
2. is the title to each going to be 'coming together' with 1, 2, 3 etc and if so, aimed directly at couples as 'together' suggests? so stories wanting to be submitted keep this in mind?
3. has lit been approached - they would be an invaluable asset in helping, and also provide a support [cred] to maybe going to places like amazon.com and see if they will sell it as an ebook etc?

Folks are PMing me their endorsements (pre-edit). I'm NOT editing myself -- just piecing approved puzzle pieces together into volumes.

No theme (other than sex). Focus on variety in each volume. Of course, there's the "Author's Hangout" common thread -- which may be mentioned in the preface or endnotes if Lit is agreeable.

Not "aimed" at anyone in particular other than readers of erotica. Same title for all volumes, with v.I, v.II, etc.

Lit has been made aware of the project and its involvement would be welcomed. However, active distribution/marketing is not being planning by THIS organizer. That does not preclude ANYONE picking up the ball and running with it once the first volume is ready to roll.

I think she's right that there has to be some theming done. Those who think they are buying a book filled with straight sex might be upset to find gay sex and lesbian stories in there. Some have no interest in BDSM and they would be irritated to find whippings in the book they had just bought. At the same time, there are those who will want only gay sex or only lesbian or only BDSM.

Incest stories on Lit. are so vanilla, involving only adults, that they can be combined with E/C and other types, inclujding group stories, but fetish stories are a particular niche and there are those who oppose interracial sex. Stories involving ghosts and werewolves and other non-human beings will not interest those who want only straight, hot sex stories.

I don't think it needs to be themed. My favorite anthologies are the ones with a little of everything. It's always an adventure to read and see what the next one's gonna bring. Somewhere in the intro it will be said the book has the following stories: M/M, BDSM, M/F, etc. People will know. No one will be shocked.

The discussion about theming has taken place. I am trusting the endorsement process to weed out any stories that might be considered too "extreme." Readers will be "warned" in the preface (and whatever other promo blurb CafePress makes accessible PRIOR to purchase) what they're getting.

Beyond that, it's a MIX -- a celebration of sex in all its wonder.

I say this COMPLETELY without rancor: If it's not to your liking, don't play. Simple, really.

I think if we were doing this with a primary focus on the profitability that it would need a tighter focus. But I had the feeling that we were doing this more as an artistic project and less as a business venture. That we were simply hoping to cover our costs by doing the publish-on-demand route.

With this in mind, that the primary audience will likely be our existing fans, and that any thing else we achieve is gravy, we need worry less about how marketable we are.
