Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Wait. . .where the fuck is Falcon? I thought he was brought in specifically because someone looked at the Avengers and said. . .hmmm more green people than minorities. Might want to work on that.

I also demand a reason be given why Warmachine isn't around. It's not even that I want him in the movie it's that holy shit alien invasion and the government doesn't immediately send in their military super weapon? Remember S.H.E.I.L.D. doesn't appear to be US based (though even in the comics they can never really hammer down if they belong to the US government, are supposed to be with the UN or don't really answer to anybody but are on decent terms with everybody.)

I don't know about Falcon, but Rhodes was in a previous trailer. The one where they are all trying to pick up Thor's hammer. He'll be in this one.

Peep the casting list at IMDB. Falcon is in, as is Warmachine, Agent Carter, Loki and Heimdall. Dunno how everyone's worked into the story, but they're there.

Aaaaaaaand I got my Ultron tix for Thursday, April 30th at 10:30, beyootches! Ha ha ha! :D

That seems like a lot of unlikely people at least if we're talking doing something more than walking across the set to say hello. Carter should be dead or in her nineties or early hundreds depending on how old you think she was during the events of Captain America. Loki and Heimdall sound like cameos, I mean what possible purpose is their for those two in the movie? Honestly I'd assume that Loki has his hands full since last we saw of him he's ruling Asgard now.

I hope they can work in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or at least acknowledge they exist. Even if they weren't friends in any traditional sense you'd think a few of them either A) know that Coulson is alive or B) would be very interested in finding out. I mean it's not exactly like he's been hiding much.

Ah crap, I thought Daredevil started on the morrow. Oh well I'll make time soon.

oh, damnit. now i need to make space on my hard drive.

and i'm still living in fear of august.

Daredevil is bad.

Not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good. All the way good. :D

And I'm only three episodes in. Each ep plays nearly straight to the hour's edge and there's a lot of work going into each. The "street level" superhero thing they're going for is working well in this and Netflix was a great choice for the jump off.

Daredevil is outstanding. I watched about 3 1/2 eps last night and I'm loving how smart it is and how thorough they are to not have plot gaps left and right. The acting is tremendous, the tie-ins with the MCU are picture perfect. The mob maneuvering is just on the ragged edge of believable, wonderful. I hope it's being watched and re-watched a squillion times.

I'm not going to spoil but I'm fairly certain I saw an homage to Oldboy at one point. Bravo Marvel! This one's gonna be a runaway hit.

I thought the exact same thing. And the bone-breaking don't stop there. This joint is really violent. Amazing departure from Marvel's lighter fare. There are times I'm telling myself, "this dude is in the same collective universe that Groot, Captain America and Agent Carter are in."

I'm on Episode Six now. I can't believe that there are people on my Twitter feed saying they've already finished it. Even if you were homebound over the weekend and had space to clear the field, that's way too fast to enjoy them, IMO. Each ep is virtually an hour with no CM breaks as it was tailor made for Netflix viewing and they are so dense with the heavy. I'll binge, but it's gotta be three at a time. That's a movie and some change right there.

daredevil really is quite good. it was nice to see debra ann woll in something that wasn't terrible. it's been awhile.

Yeah I pushed it going for four and ended up falling asleep somewhere in the fourth one anyway. Two eps a shot feels about right. I didn't watch any more over the weekend because of plans but I can't wait to dive back in.

On another note, anyone watching "POWERS"? Playstation Network adapted Brian Michael Bendis's "POWERS" to be their first series and to launch their brand new network. I applaud this because they could obviously just put some animated children's horse shit on there instead and make dough. So bravo for choosing to adapt difficult niche material with adult themes. Of course they are stupid and are not following Netflix's successful example of ultimate availability. I'm stealing it, because to watch it legit you have to actually have a Playstation, then pay per episode. What do I want with a fucking Playstation? Anyway the material is, I'd say, loosely based on the source material. Much has changed. Ep 06 and I'm still tuning in though...

Outstanding games?

Fair enough, that probably came off a bit harsh. I'm not a gamer though and what little time I do play is on PC-based rpg type stuff. I'd no more buy a $400 box and subscribe to Playstation PLUS to watch this show than I would buy cable and HBO subscriptions to watch Game of Thrones. At least HBO is going to offer an alternative. That, I'm thrilled about. Here's hoping they don't cock it up. Cheers!

Seeing banner ads for this on various comic book/entertainment media sites I frequent and thought it was just advertising for an actual game, so dismissed it. What you're posting here is actually explaining it to me for the first time. I know I'm not the only one. So the promo for it is kinda hinky if you're not in that world from jump. And the access mechanics behind it is clunky too. Needing a PlayStay? Some people aren't gamers per sé, but would watch it because they get into CG anime with deep-dish story.

Shoulda just went whole-hog with Netflix, the model of having it all at once to slowly or binge watch at one's leisure is going gangbusters and will be a standard mode of broadcasting in the near future. Looks like most of us will have to wait until the season's wrapped and collect the disc.

vincent d'onofrio really is just about perfect as kingpin. it's about goddamned time, man.

Jimmy Fallon has a thing on his show called “The Wall of America” in which people over the internet ask guests questions. With the cast of the Avengers on they had a bunch on Marvel geeks on the “Wall” and after a couple of fans who should appear but Clark Gregg! And he asked would any of them be willing to appear on the small screen and they said that they would be glad to. Now being that they are no coincidences, does anyone think that this is Marvel, Disney, and ABC’s way of telling either some or all the Avengers are going to show up on Agents of SHIELD?
