I publish on both free and pay sites and none allow under 18. The pay site is based in the UK.

As I mentioned above I know of free one site that does allow it and what you end up with is not pretty and I'll leave it at that.

And of course underage sex is depicted frequently in mainstream books and movies. "Lolita" was a classic in its day and "Taxi Driver", which had 12-year old Jodie Foster playing a teen prostitute, was a box office and critical success. I wonder if they would encounter more problems if they were released today. I suspect they might...

I am sorry if you thought I was being insensitive. But the question you asked has been asked many times before and most have only asked it to justify breaking Lit's rules.

I have a sticky at the top of the AH about Lit's age limit. It was only necessary because people complain to the AH at least monthly when their story is rejected for underage (by Lit's rule of 18) sex.

There are sites where anything goes but I would not recommend visiting them.
