Afterlife Outcomes

What do you believe will happen after death? Is there an afterlife, or are we just food for worms? Does the spirit have an existence independent of the body?

I have no idea either way, and that fact scares the hell out of me.

I wouldn't want to do that. People have enough shit in their lives without my adding more to the pile by moving chairs in their houses and going "BOO."

I hope there is. I don't really believe there is but I hope so.

The rational person in me says that even though I can't touch or feel anything which confirms there is an after life, I was taught energy transforms (law of conservation) but doesn't go away. Therefore that makes me think there might be an afterlife of some sort.

My fantasy is this, there is a cosmic consciousness that you join when you die. All of the people you have loved who went before you is part of it. They are transformed into more understanding and forgiving people who love you.

So for instance, my Daddy would theoretically know what I've done since he died and would have a new tolerance and understanding of me than he did in life.

i am christian so i do believe in heaven, more or less. but what it's like, that i don't know at all. i hope it is nice, and i hope it really exists. some days i am sure there most be something, other days i am afraid of what if there's nothing... i am not one of the people that can take comfort out of the idea of it being all over. it scares me. a lot. i don#t like the idea of turning part of some energy or anything similar either. i like being me. i want to stay me.
