Just hours after most mainstream media outlets declared Democratic nominee Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 election over President Donald Trump, Biden's supposed leftist comrades in Portland, Oregon, weren't celebrating victory.

Instead they busted windows at the Multnomah County Democrats building and spray-painted messages such as "F*** Biden" and "No Presidents" — along with the universal symbol of anarchists.

Such vandalism — presumably carried out by those who are no fans of Trump — could be cause for concern among Democrats, particularly when it's taking place in a leftist stronghold like Portland.

On Saturday, former first lady Michelle Obama threw fuel on the fire with a tweet ripping the more than 71 million people who voted for Trump in 2020.

Shortly after Biden was declared president-elect by the media, Obama posted a Twitter thread praising the apparent victor, praising Biden voters, and, naturally, ripping President Trump by lauding the coming return of "dignity, competence, and heart" to the Oval Office.

And then she launched into a call for unity — by intimating that Trump supporters are pro-lies, pro-hate, pro-chaos, and pro-division.

"Let's remember that tens of millions of people voted for the status quo, even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos, and division," she cautioned. "We've got a lot of work to do to reach out to these folks in the years ahead and connect with them on what unites us."

Biden would react to such fringe actions very differently than Trump. While Trump and right wing media try to paint this as indicative of the whole progressive movement and BLM, Biden will still recognize the rights of protesters who do not disrespect property.

Trump has no gray area. It's either white or black, good or bad, yet most real life issues have gray areas. It's so nice to finally be getting an adult in charge again.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called the Democrat Party “incompetent” for not placing progressives in top positions, warning former Vice President Joe Biden that if he does not select far-left people for top positions, the Democrats will lose big in the 2022 midterm elections.

Ocasio-Cortez told the New York Times that she sharply rejected the notion that progressive messaging around the Green New Deal and the Black Lives Matter movement led to the loss of congressional seats this election cycle.
