M & M, I am so fucking proud of you two! If anyone can relate to some of the trials you've faced, it's V & I. I was giggling at myself the other day because for as long as I knew you each individually, nearly all of my memories and thought processes begin from that fateful weekend in P-town when the sparks first flew for you. It's like I'm incapable of remembering a world where you're not a couple. It may sound a little odd, but I rather like it that way. The world got better the day you two first hugged.

Speaking of that, it has been an honor and a pleasure to have the opportunity to watch your love begin and grow over the past year-ish. I know I speak for at least one other person when I say your love brings us great happiness and inspires us in ways we are hard pressed to explain. It's a wonderful thing you have together, and we couldn't be happier for you.

I'm unbelievably touched by all your wonderful words and good wishes. I only wish there was a way for you all to be here with us, it would make a very special day absolutely unforgettable, but the lottery failed me again this week. *sigh*.

At the moment, we are all (us and Min's folks), taking a well earned break. Min and her dad have spent the last hour or so assembling our brand new barbeque which will be christened this evening - just to make sure before Saturday.

The awning I ordered for the garden finally arrived - that will be erected tomorrow I would think, while I'm at the airport collecting L, V and Becca.

Min's mum and I have been finishing tidying up the part of the garden that will be used for the celebrations, edging the patio, cutting back wayward shrubs and trees, and then while I did much needed laundry, sorting all the trash for recycling, Min's mum has been planting out tulip bulbs - Min's favourite flowers. They won't flower until very early spring, but they need to be planted now, to overwinter. They need the cold for some perverse reason.

My final chore before we go out for some much needed R&R, sight seeing, is to print out the ceremony scripts for our guests for Sunday.

All in all, a very productive morning. It's going to be a very early night for me, I have to out of the house at 4.15am ( ) to be at the airport in time, so I may not be back on here again today.

I wish safe and excited journeys to Lucky, Vella, Becca and Scheh....I am so looking forward to being with you all again.
