Isn't it amazing just how much people on here affect your life. First Vella and Lucky's love put a smile on my face whenever I think of them and now Snoop's new kiss has had exactly the same effect.

Most of us have never met and don't know each other's real names and I know none of you even know what I look like. Yet hearing news like that is enough to make my day.

Isn't that odd?

If you can be affected by a movie or a song or a news story about people you don't know, it's not odd when you consider how much of yourself you invest in this place. I think it's natural to be affected by the people you communicate with in an open way.

   for Lucky, Vella and Snoopy!

and one more  for The Earl.

Yes, people here and other places online affect me all the time, for good and for bad, more often than not good though. I consider myonline life a branch of my real life and so it makes sense really. :)

I'm massively happy for Vella and Lucky too, and for snoop...all the posts made me smile today :)

Not odd at all. Snoop's first kiss thread made me smile... and it also made me remember my own, so I think that's normal. Finding joy in other's happiness is one of the great gifts we have as human beings. :)

Hi Erotic-Kiss. I don't think I've met you before, but you've just become only the second person to get quoted in my sigline. That's a perfect phrase.

I'm absolutely honored. Thank you. :) Was lovely to meet you this time, and I hope we meet again.

Naah.

I feel like I know some of you quite well. In fact I know more about you than I know about some of the friends I have locally. Names and faces are just a moot point that is more or less irrelevant in a new media like this.

This place has the ability to make me cry, scream, laugh and sigh.

I think its just part of the human condition.

*shrug*

AH rocks!

Ditto!!!!!!

I couldn't have said it better :)

I have friends here who know me better than anyone else in the world. I did think it was odd, but know I'm just so grateful to have found this community of people.

Even more so know that the last vestiges of doubt (about who people really are in comparison to who they may be pretending to be online) have been obliterated by four of the most beautiful women I could ever hope to meet.

Lit has been a wonderful thing for me and I expect it will continue to be so...

There you are. I forgot you were outta town, so I was almost beginning to worry 'bout where you were at. ;)

I know exactly what you mean. The UK meet-up did nothing but confirm just how great a collection of people we have here.

Too bad the planet is this big, or we would all be able to meet more often. Some day, some day...

I HATE YOU ALL!

That phrase always reminds me of this story tape I used to listen to when I was younger. It was a comic parody of several nursery rhymes and fairy tales called 'There's a Wolf in my Pudding' and it was read out loud by Tony Robinson (Baldrick from Blackadder).

One of the stories was a prequel to Beauty and the Beast and was about the narcissistic Prince that got cursed by a Witch because he said her daughter was too ugly to marry him.

The Prince, so horribly deforemed that no-one can stand to be near him locks himself in his castle, hollering out the window the fleeing peasants , "I hate you all!"

Only for the reply to come back of "And we hate you toooo."

:D

Brat. Feel free to smack me upside the head when I get too annoying with my babbling and gushing. I can't seem to stop going on about how wonderful they are, this weekend was, and I can't quit grinning.

We need to get that island for the AH. We've got enough various talent here to be pretty damned self-sufficient, methinks.

Until then, I'll just have to harass you to get your ass across the pond for a visit.

reminds ME of a tragic and formative moment in my youth.

I had a crush on a girl in Junior high...I had to ride my police-auction bike 3 miles to her neigborhood. She lived on a court. One weekend I rode to her court and a girl cam eout of her house...I thought was her sister. She yelled at me, "She doesn't like you, go away!". I feebley replied "i'm just riding my bike."

Luckily it was not until a year ago that I found out she doesn't even HAVE a sister. I am sure EVERY girl in Junior high had heard.

Regardless I was crushed.

Still have scars.

though probably the best and worst thing to happen to me.

If it helps, though from my own Jr High experiences nothing helps, Junior high girls spend a lot of time protesting too much about the guys they claim not to like. They didn't even notice, much less bother to discuss, those they actually didn't like.

I just might afford to ship the ass, but the rest of me would have to stay here.

Later. When I'm loaded.
