Well according to my wife her sexual desire is starting to come back after some of her meds have been changed over the few months which is HUGE.

I would say it depends on what stimulates your wife best. There are the 'strapless' kinds (that you can use without a harness, but still stay a bit better with a harness on) - they have an end that she can insert, so she is being penetrated at the same time. Some have vibrators that can be used, as well. Also, the 'her side' of the insertable come in a variety of styles and sizes/length - so, again, a person choice on that.

Like the other posters have said I think this is going to be highly individual. The best thing to do is probably to buy some relatively cheap versions of different types that's what we did. Also remember that it doesn't have to be an 'all in one', you can mix and match different toys. In the end we found the best thing for us was a combination of a really sturdy strap-on for my pleasure and a butterfly vibrator for hers.
