Im a male 26 and Ive just started shaving my crotch. I have very little problems shaving when I let it grow out as long as Im very careful. I only do it everyonce in a while, but when I do it the next night or a few nights after I shaved the first time, I nick myself. Alot of times I clean the blade with hot water and I wonder if that makes a difference. I do use plenty of shaving cream so I dont think thats it. I dont know if it is different for women or if women experience this as well but your input is more than welcome.

Shaving Your Pubic Area...

PREPPING To soften the hairs, soak in a warm bath for at least ten minutes. Apply a little hair conditioner to help "plump" the hairs before applying the shaving cream. Do not apply too much shaving cream... you have to see what you are doing!
SHAVING Always use one hand to pull the skin taut while you are shaving. This will help you avoid razor nicks and cuts. Use two strokes. On the first stroke, go "with the grain" to remove most of the hair, then go "against the grain" for a smoother, closer shave.
AFTER-SHAVING Gently rinse off the shaving cream with baby oil and water. Blot or pat dry with a fluffy towel (never rub). To prevent red bumps and itching, apply clear, unscented vitamin E oil to the entire area.
MAINTENANCE Shave on a regular basis. This will eliminate any sharp stubbles (stubbles are what cause excessive skin irritation and itching).

NOTE: Take it slow and easy. You do not have to get a "smooth shave" the first time you shave. Do so in stages. The first month, shave every seven days. With each shaving session your skin will become increasingly used to the razor.

Shaving in stages will help you avoid excessive irritation. Once your skin gets used to the razor, there'll be no irritation at all.

the info above I got from this site : http://www.mrjoel.com/shaving.htm

Good luck...or you could just let me shave you :rose:

try putting lotion on, letting it moisturize your skin well before hand.

Thank you I will have to try that. Im not used to this. I ve only started trying it recently. the only time I have before now is when I was 16. I just wanted to see what it would be like to shave. I dont know if I thought I was being like a stripper or if it was something women would like but I never let anyone know I did till now lol. I was embarassed at the time...

No need to be embarassed at all. Alot of men shave. I think a smooth pubic area is very sexy on men and women.

well Ill have to get your personal opinion one day ;)

shaving is sexy

I love smooth men! and I am referring to hair here...

Sometimes hair is okay, and I can deal with it, but I enjoy oral so much more when I am not contending with hair. Also, as the area is shaved, its more exposed, and there for more sensitive. The added potential for senstion is fabulous.
So, thanks for joining the ranks of smooth men, and be careful- drawing blood is bad

Basil:kiss:

a gf and i did this for a summer....wow...it was great...first, my cock looked bigger...second, we both found oral was amazing w/o any little hairs in the way....and third, it was just a little sexy....that was a great time! i highly recommend it!

Ive noticed that there seems to be more there after being shaved. also the pubic area is exposed. its really sensitive after the first shaving. Thank you Bella for the info. Id be delighted if you illistrated what you meant by the lotion and all. I kinda understand but not really... I think you need to take more of a "hands on" approach to showing me how to stay smooth :D:heart: :rose:
