I know I have not talked to the ladies in here but I have lurked, hope you enjoy this.

There’s a particular kind of trouble
that only happens when three women
decide to flirt with the night.
A sparkle in their eyes,
a shy smile half-hidden
but never hidden enough.

Tinsel trembles on the mantle,
as if it knows their laughter,
as if it’s overheard
their almost-whispers,
their “don’t look… unless you want to”
glances shared behind soft giggles.

One toys with a ribbon
twisting it lazily around her finger,
letting it slip,
letting it fall,
pretending not to notice
how it suggests more than it shows.

Another leans into the glow
of holiday lights,
letting the shadows drape
over her in the most deliberate accident
a sneaky peak of silhouette,
a curve outlined like a secret
begging to be discovered.


And the third
the quietest mischief of all
just smiles,
soft and knowing,
like she’s already imagined
exactly where this teasing could lead
if someone were bold enough
to answer the invitation
she didn’t quite speak aloud.

Together, they’re a storm
of sweet provocation
shy enough to be charming,
bold enough to be dangerous,
and playful enough
to make the tinsel blush.

So if they ask you
(which they will),
which of them is the most tempting
just lean in,
lower your voice,
and say:

“Don’t make me choose.
You three are trouble wrapped in ribbon,
and I’m enjoying every
slow,
delicious,
unsaid
moment.”
