Bit of a random post. I'm after some advice regarding adult men that are diagnosed with ADHD in later life. Just want to speak about how it effects them etc

I can only speak from personal experience that it makes me somewhat forgetful - although the depression as well doesn't help with that.

I have not been diagnosed, but My brother and two of his sons have. After discussions with my brother, odds are I have have it. The thing that drives people crazy is that I will be engaged in conversation with them and then I will hear another conversation and start paying attention to it. I will try to actually pay attention to both which somewhat rips my head apart. As I write this, I note that I actually can't remember having this feeling in a few years, so time may have finally mitigated it. It's rather unpleasant, and people think you are being rude. I used to think it was simply a moral failing, not realizing that I had no control over it.
