Some people accuse thread starters of continually bumping up their own threads. I think if you are interested enough in starting a thread..I’m sure many of the responses will indeed cause a reply.

I notice that thread starters will highjack their own thread and it will become something else entirely…very often whittling down to just two people talking.

If it’s your own thread..I really see nothing wrong with any of the above.

One thing that I do find odd, though..is when people talk “over” another poster eluding him..as if he is not there to “hear” what you are saying.

Yup... I've experienced that - but, I give the one or two people who just "ignore" me the benefit of the doubt - They may find me irritating or offensive - and do not wish to argue... But, that's cool.

On the other hand, two or three individuals literally "flee" from any contact - that is a bit snotty/ cowardly - but Lit. has enough GREAT folks to compensate for a couple of immature members.

I try to answer everyone - negative OR positive when I am addressed, or it's my thread...

And Luscious, I've never seen you be "the bad guy"

Jim, I know what you mean in certain circumstances and threads, but usually.... I really don't care I just post and if someone wants to take heed to my post, wonderful if not... there choice.
